Sukhna Lake is a man-made reservoir at the foothills of the Shivalik Range in Chandigarh, created in 1958. The 3 km promenade around the lake with the Shivalik hills reflecting in the water, migratory birds, and peaceful boating create a serene atmosphere. Winter mornings bring the Shivalik range into clear view. The bonsai garden and Rose Garden nearby extend the shooting possibilities.
